Anilu Vazquez-Ubarri is TPG’s Chief Human Resources Officer and is based in San Francisco. Prior to joining TPG in 2018, Anilu was with Goldman Sachs for more than 11 years, where she most recently was the firm’s Global Head of Talent and Chief Diversity Officer. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Anilu was an associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in the Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits group from 2002 to 2007. Anilu received an AB in History and Latin American Studies, cum laude, from Princeton University and a JD from Fordham University School of Law. Anilu currently serves on the Boards of Teach for America-Bay Area, LatinoJustice PRLDEF and the Fordham University School of Law Alumni Board.

Thomas Verghese is The Rise Fund’s Sector Lead for Healthcare and is based in San Francisco. Prior to joining The Rise Fund, Tom worked at LeapFrog Investments, where he was a leader on the Global Health investment team, sourcing and evaluating opportunities across Africa and Asia. Before LeapFrog, he was at CDC Group Plc, the British Sovereign Wealth Fund, where he analyzed direct investment opportunities in healthcare across South Asia and Africa. Tom has also been based in Kenya at Excelsior Firm, a PE advisory firm working with corporations and investors on investing in ICT and healthcare across Africa. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BA in Finance from Georgetown University.

Vivian Wan

Vivian Wan is an Managing Director at TPG Capital Asia based in Hong Kong, where she leads the human capital agenda of TPG’s portfolio companies in Asia. Prior to joining TPG in 2011, Vivian held various HR leadership positions with Intel Corporation, including Asia Strategic Staffing Director and China Human Resources Director. During her five years with Intel, Vivian focused on leadership pipeline building, countrywide workforce planning, as well as organization development and right-sizing. Prior to Intel, she was a Consultant with Heidrick & Struggles where she covered the private equity, technology, and insurance industries. Additionally, Vivian was a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company. Vivian received a PhD in physics from St. John’s College, University of Cambridge and an MSc and MA from New Hall, University of Cambridge.

Gi Kyun Wang

Gi is a Principal in TPG's Client & Capital Formation Group based in Seoul.  He joined TPG in 2020 from Neuberger Berman where he was a senior vice president focusing on capital raise from Korean institutional investors.  Prior to that, he spent eight years as a private equity investor at EQ Partners, a Seoul-based private equity firm.  Gi received a BA from the Johns Hopkins University.

Jack Weingart is the Co-Managing Partner of the TPG Capital business, based in San Francisco. Between 2006 and 2017, he served as Managing Partner of the Funding Group, which comprises the firm’s fundraising and capital markets activities. Prior to joining TPG in 2006, Jack was a Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co., responsible for managing the firm’s West Coast leveraged finance and financial sponsor business. Jack earned a BS in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California at Berkeley and has served on the Boards of Chobani and the Awaso Hope Foundation.

Mike Weingart is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital. Prior to joining TPG in 2010, Mike worked in a variety of procurement, operations and supply chain roles at Cerberus Capital, General Motors and BMW Manufacturing.  Mike supports TPG portfolio companies across the Capital, Growth, and RISE funds as a member of the Procurement Services Group, where he has developed TPG’s leverage procurement platform and supports individual companies with their sourcing and procurement strategies. Mike received his BA from Michigan State University in Supply Chain Management. Outside of TPG, Mike is on the board of North Coast Community Homes, a local non-profit that develops and maintains community based housing for people with developmental and mental disabilities.

Steve Willmann

Steve Willmann is a Managing Director and the Treasurer for TPG based in Fort Worth, where he oversees all financing, foreign exchange, and cash management functions for the firm and its funds. Prior to joining TPG in 2007, Steve was a Vice President at JPMorgan, where he spent nine years in various corporate banking roles. Steve graduated from Texas Tech University and the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Trinity Valley School.
