Who We Are
Drew Conrad is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital, where he focuses on the development and implementation of pricing initiatives at TPG’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining TPG in 2011, Drew was a partner in the San Francisco office of Simon-Kucher and Partners, the world’s largest pricing consultancy. Drew received a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from Thunderbird.
Jonathan Coslet is the Vice Chairman of TPG. Jonathan has been with the firm since its inception in 1993 and previously served as Chief Investment Officer. During his tenure at the firm, Jonathan has served on the Boards of Directors of Biomet, Crunch Fitness, Cushman & Wakefield, Endurance Specialty, FIS, Iasis Healthcare, IQVIA, JCrew, LifeTime Fitness, Neiman Marcus, Oxford Health Plans, Petco, Quintiles, and several others. Prior to joining TPG, Jonathan worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and before that, at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he started his career in 1987. Jonathan received his BS in economics and finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was Valedictorian, and his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Jonathan currently serves on the Boards of Stanford Children's Hospital, the Stanford Medicine Board of Fellows, and the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.
Martin Coulter is an Operating Partner with TPG Growth and The Rise Fund and is based in Boston, where he works with the healthcare group to support diligence of new opportunities and help the executive teams of our portfolio companies reach their full potential. Before joining TPG, Martin served as CEO of PatientsLikeMe, a digital health company and innovator in patient-centered healthcare that worked to advance the development and delivery of new treatments and therapies for chronically ill patients. Martin earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Originally from Ireland, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin, and a Master of Science degree in Finance from University College, Dublin.
James (“Jim”) Coulter is the Executive Chairman and a Founding Partner of TPG, the Co-Managing Partner of The Rise Fund, and Managing Partner of TPG Rise Climate. Jim is a 1982 Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College. In 1986, Jim received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar.
Jim has served on over 35 corporate boards in his career, and currently serves on Creative Artists Agency, Philz Coffee and Rodan + Fields. He also serves on the Stanford University Board of Trustees, and has served on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College.
Mitesh Daga is a Managing Director at TPG Capital Asia based in Mumbai. Prior to joining TPG in 2014, Mitesh worked with Advent International in London and Mumbai, and with Capital One in the U.S. Mitesh graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and is a CFA charterholder.
Jack Daly is a Partner at TPG based in San Francisco. He leads investments in the Industrials and Services spaces. Prior to joining TPG in 2016, Jack served as a Partner in the Merchant Banking Division at Goldman Sachs & Co as the Head of Industrials Private Equity in the Americas. Jack has served on a number of boards of directors of leading industrial and services companies and currently serves on the board of directors of Transplace, CLEAResult and Newlight Technologies. He is also on the board of the Navy SEAL Foundation. Jack received BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from CWRU and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Scott Darby is an Operating Director for TPG Growth and TPG Rise, where he leads operations and portfolio transformation for the firm’s Software and Enterprise Technology investments. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Scott led Global Operations for Forcepoint, a cybersecurity software business. He has also served as a portfolio operations director with Vista Equity Partners and held diversified management roles with AT&T. Scott earned a BSBA from the University of Missouri (summa cum laude) and an MBA from the University of Texas (high honors). He serves in board governance and advisory roles with several non-profit organizations focused on global poverty alleviation and mentorship of at-risk youth.
Tim Dattels serves as the Chairman for TPG Capital Asia, based in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Prior to joining TPG in 2004, Tim served as a Partner and Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1996 to 2000. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Western Ontario. He serves or has served on the Boards of Directors of Cushman & Wakefield, BlackBerry, Invest in Canada, Parkway Holdings, Primedia Inc., Shangri-La Asia Ltd., and Sing Tao News Corporation Ltd. Tim is also a Trustee for Jackson Laboratories, Vice Chair of SFJazz, and the Founding Trustee of the Kingfisher Foundation.
