Who We Are
Edward Beckley is a Partner at TPG based in London, where he focuses on opportunities in the infrastructure sector globally. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Edward was with Macquarie as Head of the European Infrastructure funds management business (MIRA). Edward graduated from Durham University with a BS in natural sciences.
Roger Beggs is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital. Prior to joining TPG in 2010, he worked in a variety of operations, finance, and procurement roles at Cerberus Capital, GE, and Honda Motor. Roger supports TPG portfolio companies across the Capital, Growth, and RISE funds as a member of the Procurement Services Group, where he has developed TPG’s leverage procurement platform and supports individual companies with their sourcing and procurement strategies. Outside of TPG, Roger is on the board of the International Dyslexia Association and an active supporter of Learning Ally.
Brad Berenson is the General Counsel of TPG based in San Francisco. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Brad served as Vice President for Litigation and Legal Policy of The General Electric Company at its corporate headquarters in Fairfield, CT and Boston. Prior to joining GE, Brad was a Partner at Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, DC. Brad was Associate Counsel to the President of the United States from 2001 to 2003 and had previously clerked for Judge Laurence H. Silberman of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and for Justice Anthony M. Kennedy of the United States Supreme Court. Brad is a graduate of Yale College and Harvard Law School where he was Supreme Court editor of the Harvard Law Review.
David Bessel is a Vice President at TPG Growth based in San Francisco and focuses on investments in internet, media, and communications. David has been with TPG since 2015 and spent his first four years working with TPG Capital, focused on internet and media investments. David holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class and summa cum laude.
Puneet Bhatia is Co-Managing Partner and Country Head, India of TPG Capital Asia. Prior to joining TPG in 2002, Puneet was the Chief Executive, Private Equity group, for GE India, and before that, a member of the Project and Corporate Finance group at ICICI Ltd. Puneet holds a B.Com Honors degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He serves on the Boards of Directors of several TPG portfolio companies including Janalakshmi Financial Services, Manipal Hospitals, Vishal Retail, Shriram Capital, and Union Bank of Colombo.
Cindy Black is a Managing Director at TPG based in San Francisco, where she oversees the firm’s global real estate lease portfolio and associated build out projects as well as the major events hosted by the firm. Prior to joining TPG in 2007, Cindy spent more than 20 years at JP Morgan, most recently as Managing Director and COO responsible for the West Region and the Technology, Media and Telecom Group in the Investment Bank. Cindy received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics and mathematics from Smith College. She is on the Board of Directors and a member of the Governance Committee at Meals On Wheels of San Francisco, and a member of the Leadership Circle Advisory Council at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.
Peter Bojo is a Vice President at TPG Growth based in San Francisco, and has been with TPG since 2014. Peter works in TPG's healthcare group, and previously worked as a consultant at Oliver Wyman. Peter graduated from MIT and is an observer on several boards.
David Bonderman is Chairman and Founding Partner of TPG. David holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and graduated from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review and a Sheldon Fellow. David serves on a number of public and private Boards, some of which include China International Capital Corporation Ltd, Cushman & Wakefield, Kite Pharma, Inc., Ryanair Holdings, plc (of which he is Chairman), The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, the Grand Canyon Trust, and The Wilderness Society, as well as various academic and advisory boards.
Bhushan Bopardikar is a Vice President at TPG Growth based in Mumbai. Prior to joining TPG in 2019, he worked with Eight Roads Ventures, the private equity arm of Fidelity, where he led investments in the healthcare and consumer sectors. He started his career in consulting and has also worked for an Indian private equity fund, Samara Capital. Bhushan received his BS. (Hons.) in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Purdue University.
