Who We Are
Michael Comish is a Director at TPG Capital based in London, and has been with TPG since 2016. Michael works in TPG’s operations group, and was previously Chief Digital Officer for Tesco. Michael graduated from INSEAD, and is on the board of Victoria Plum, Prezzo, and the WE organization in Europe.
Drew Conrad is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital, where he focuses on the development and implementation of pricing initiatives at TPG’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining TPG in 2011, Drew was a partner in the San Francisco office of Simon-Kucher and Partners, the world’s largest pricing consultancy. Drew received a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from Thunderbird.
John Cosgrove is a Principal in TPG’s Fundraising group based in New York, where he focuses on developing and maintaining investor relationships across the firm’s investment platforms. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, John spent seven years at Riverstone Holdings working on both its in-house IR team and with its affiliated agency business BearTooth Advisors. John received an AB in Government from Harvard College.
Jonathan Coslet is the Chief Investment Officer of TPG and has been with the firm since its inception in 1993. Prior to joining TPG, Jonathan worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and before that, at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he started his career. Jonathan received his BS in economics and finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was Valedictorian, and his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Jonathan currently serves on the Board of Stanford Children's Hospital, the Stanford Medical Advisory Council, and the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.
James (“Jim”) Coulter is the Co-CEO and a Founding Partner of TPG. He also serves as Co-Managing Partner of The Rise Fund and interim Co-Managing Partner of TPG Growth. Mr. Coulter is a 1982 Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College. In 1986, Mr. Coulter received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar. Mr. Coulter serves as a member on numerous corporate and charitable boards, including Creative Artists Agency, J.Crew Group, Philz Coffee, The Rise Fund, and Cirque du Soleil. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College and Stanford University and was co-chair of the Leading Education by Advancing Digital (LEAD) Commission.
Martin Coulter is an Operating Partner with TPG Growth and The Rise Fund and is based in Boston, where he works with the healthcare group to support diligence of new opportunities and help the executive teams of our portfolio companies reach their full potential. Before joining TPG, Martin served as CEO of PatientsLikeMe, a digital health company and innovator in patient-centered healthcare that worked to advance the development and delivery of new treatments and therapies for chronically ill patients. Martin earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. Originally from Ireland, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin, and a Master of Science degree in Finance from University College, Dublin.
Mitesh Daga is a Managing Director at TPG Capital Asia based in Mumbai. Prior to joining TPG in 2014, Mitesh worked with Advent International in London and Mumbai, and with Capital One in the U.S. Mitesh graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and is a CFA charterholder.
Jack Daly is a Partner at TPG Capital based in San Francisco, where he leads the platform’s investments in the Industrials and Services spaces. Prior to joining TPG in 2016, Jack served as a Partner in the Merchant Banking Division at Goldman Sachs & Co as the Head of Industrials Private Equity in the Americas. Prior to his 17 years at Goldman Sachs, Jack was on the faculty of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Jack has served on a number of Boards of Directors of leading industrial and services companies and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Transplace. He is also on the Board of the Navy SEAL Foundation. Jack received BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from CWRU and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Scott Darby is a Vice President of Portfolio Operations at TPG Capital based in San Francisco, where he drives operations and portfolio transformation in the technology group. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Scott served as Vice President of Global Operations for Forcepoint, a cybersecurity software business. He has also held diversified roles with Vista Equity Partners and AT&T. Scott earned a BSBA from the University of Missouri (summa cum laude) and an MBA from the University of Texas (high honors). He serves in board governance or advisory roles with several non-profit organizations focused on global poverty alleviation and mentorship of at-risk youth.
