Who We Are
Andy Doyle is an Operations Director at TPG on the internet and digital media team, based in San Francisco. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, he was Head of Operations at the publishing platform Medium, where he oversaw core business and commercial functions. Andy has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Williams College and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
Brian Dunlap is the Sector Lead for Technology, Media & Telecommunications for The Rise Fund and is based in San Francisco. Prior to joining TPG, Brian worked at General Atlantic and JMI Equity, where he led investments in enterprise software / SaaS, consumer internet, financial technology and financial services in the U.S. and Latin America. Brian received a B.A., and M.A. from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Brian speaks Spanish and Portuguese and serves on the Boards of Directors at EverFi, HotSchedules, Noodle AI, and Resultados Digitais.
Timothy Dunn is with TPG Capital and is based in San Francisco, where he is a member of the firm’s operations group. Prior to joining TPG in 2005, Timothy served as CFO/CAO of Hotwire, a TPG company. He graduated from the University of Southern California, serves on the Board and Finance Committee for St. Anthony’s Foundation and is on the Board and chairs the Audit Committee for Nordstrom Federal Savings Bank.
David Dvorin is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital, where he specializes in improving pricing strategies and pricing execution for the portfolio companies. David joined TPG in 2014 from Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, where he worked as Senior Operating Executive, Revenue and Pricing. Before joining WCAS, David was Vice President of Global Strategic Pricing at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Director of Pricing at American Greetings, and an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. He received a BS from the University of Michigan and an MPP from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Dirk Eller is a Partner at TPG Capital based in London, where he works in the operations group and focuses on the consumer and retail as well as technology, media and services sectors in Europe. Prior to joining TPG in 2015, Dirk served as Chief Financial Officer of Clear Channel Outdoor, the global outdoor advertising leader with operations in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Dirk received a bachelor of business administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas A&M University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
Steve Ellis is a Managing Partner at TPG in San Francisco, where he is Co-Managing Partner of The Rise Fund. Prior to joining TPG in 2015, Steve was the CEO of Asurion, the world's leading provider of technology protection services, and a Global Managing Partner for Bain & Company. Steve is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Stanford Business School, where he is a regular guest lecturer. Steve also serves on the boards of The Bridgespan Group, DreamBox Learning, Everfi, and Charles Schwab.
Ari Endrotomo is a Vice President at TPG based in Singapore, where he focuses on investment opportunities in Southeast Asia. He joined TPG in 2016 from Proterra Investment Partners. While at Proterra, he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating private equity investment opportunities in Australia, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Josh Evans is a Partner at TPG based in San Francisco, where he focuses on the firm’s development of new businesses, strategy, and capital formation activities. Prior to joining TPG in 2010, Josh worked at Evercore Partners in the investment banking division, advising on M&A and restructurings. Josh graduated from the University of Colorado, is actively involved with the Leeds School of Business, and is on the board of The First Tee of San Francisco.
Oscar Fan is a Principal at TPG Capital Asia based in Beijing, where he works on TPG’s investments across China. Oscar has extensive experience in investing in the consumer, retail, and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining TPG in 2011, Oscar worked with Barclays Capital's M&A team in Hong Kong. Oscar graduated from Peking University.
