Who We Are
Joe Francis is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital, where he focuses on salesforce effectiveness across TPG’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining TPG in 2018, Joe served at Group VP of Snow Software and VP Global Operations and Strategy Management at Qlik. Joe is a chartered accountant and qualified at PwC where he spent four years, and received his BSc from the University of Reading. Joe is Chair of Trustee’s for WeSeeHope who look after 92,000 orphans and their careers across five countries in Africa.
Charles Froeb is a Partner at TPG Capital based in San Francisco, where he focuses on fundraising as part of the Client and Capital Formation group. Prior to joining TPG in 2010, Charles spent 10 years at Credit Suisse as a Managing Director in the Private Funds group focused on LPs in the Western Region. Charles has a BA from Duke University and an MBA from UCLA.
Manuel Garcia is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital, where he focuses on upgrading the financial capabilities of TPG portfolio companies. Prior to TPG in 2013, Manuel served in several executive roles, including as the CFO of GE's Oil & Gas North America Services team. He also led the Manufacturing-Finance team for one of GE's energy divisions. Manuel holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the Monterrey Tec (ITESM), Mexico.
Jonathan Garfinkel is a Partner and the Co-Chief Operating Officer at TPG, based in San Francisco. Jonathan joined TPG in 1998 and was previously part of the TPG Capital deal team. He graduated from Stanford (undergraduate, GSB and GSE), is on the Board of HS Group, and chairs the Aspire Public Schools Board. Jonathan is also a member of the Stanford GSE Advisory Council.
Kendall Garrison is a Partner at TPG based in San Francisco, where he focuses on investments in the healthcare sector. Kendall serves on the Board of Directors of Beaver-Visitec International (BVI), Exactech, Kelsey-Seybold, Kindred at Home, and Kindred Healthcare, and has also been involved in TPG’s investments in Immucor, Surgical Care Affiliates, and Sabre Holdings. Prior to joining TPG in 2008, Kendall worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its investment banking division. Kendall received a BBA with Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Michael Gay works in TPG Capital's Healthcare group, and is based in San Francisco. Prior to joining TPG in 2020, Michael previously held positions at Berkshire Partners and Bain & Company. Michael graduated from Duke University and has an MBA from the Wharton School.
Beth Gibbs is a Field Operations Advisor at TPG Capital, where she focuses on the procurement function, development and implementation of preferred partners, and a range of value-added operational improvement initiatives at TPG’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Beth lead procurement consulting projects as a part of the PwC Advisory practice. Beth received a BA from Indiana University, an MBA from the Kelley School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jamie Gilbert is a Vice President at TPG Capital based in London, where he focuses on opportunities in the infrastructure sector globally. Prior to joining TPG in 2019, Jamie was with Macquarie and latterly CDC Group looking at infrastructure investments with both those businesses. Jamie graduated from the University of Cambridge with a MEng in Civil and Structural Engineering.
