TPG established TPG Real Estate Finance Trust, Inc. (NYSE: TRTX) in late 2014 and took the business public in July 2017. TRTX directly originates, acquires, and manages commercial mortgage loans and other commercial real estate-related debt instruments in North America. The TRTX portfolio consists of first mortgage loans (or interests therein) and mezzanine loans, with total commitments of $5.2 billion.
