Our fundamental research approach, combined with our long-standing presence across numerous sub-asset classes, has resulted in what we believe to be an all-weather business that can identify consistent and attractive risk-adjusted return opportunities through various economic scenarios and market cycles.

The strategy has expanded since its inception in 2006 and can take advantage of opportunities across the liquidity spectrum in numerous asset types spanning consumer, residential and commercial real estate and specialty lending markets. Our strategies invest in both securities as well as privately negotiated structured solutions, whole loan purchases, special situations, and direct origination. The platform also includes a residential whole loan business, which is consistently a market leader in the securitization space. This proprietary product provides access to loan level information and market insight that augments constant analysis of empirical market data. 

Our proprietary investment process is driven by three pillars, which have been developed and cultivated by the investment team: Market Access and Intelligence, Fundamental Credit Analysis, and Legal/Structural and Cash Flow Underwriting. Our investment professionals have navigated various market cycles and bring a wide range of experience across all major segments of the securitized and other asset-based credit markets.
